What is something you're proud of this year?

I am really proud of myself this year for prioritizing my work–life balance, letting go of things that no longer valued me, and being willing to take on more challenging and intimidating opportunities, even when they feel intimidating at first.

What advice would you give to your freshman self?

Be okay with being uncomfortable. Learn to sit with it, make it feel like home, and use it as an opportunity to grow, explore, and discover who you are. It might not be easy, but accepting even small moments of discomfort can teach you a lot in unexpected ways.

How have you utilized the SSI office this year? How has SSI been beneficial for you this year?

I’ve used SSI to support time management, managing expectations, and learning to reach my goals without burning out or feeling overwhelmed, while maintaining a healthy work–life balance and continuing to pursue the things I’m passionate about..

Any advice to other students?

Don’t be afraid to ask for help, and don’t compare yourself to others. We are all different, with different ambitions and skills; the best thing you can do is learn from each other.
