What is something you're proud of this year?

I'm proud of staying positive and grounded while also being really consistent with my time and energy. I've gotten better at giving myself honest, productive feedback without being harsh, like holding myself accountable while still giving myself the grace I deserve. It's helped me move with more clarity and keep showing up in a way that actually feels sustainable.

What advice would you give to your freshman self?

Learn to adjust (if you haven't already). It's a practice. Adaptability is your friend, even when it's uncomfortable, because life will force you to shift at some point...inevitably. Try to build a mental routine that can flex, that can stretch and compress, rather than one that only works when everything is in one particular way. And honestly, everything can be an opportunity, an opportunity for growth, transition, testing, but the impact depends on how you choose to leverage and perceive it. Simple.

How have you utilized the SSI office this year? How has SSI been beneficial for you this year?

I've used SSI for financial planning, navigating social and academic stress, and reworking my career direction so it aligns with my expectations and my multifaceted interests. Over time, SSI also became a steady accountability space for me. It's been a place where I can do real check-ins, troubleshoot what's not working, and make practical adjustments to my routine so I stay on track without spiraling.
