What is something you’re proud of this year?

Learning to ask for help before it’s too late, whether in the lab, class, or life.

What advice would you give to your freshman self?

It’s okay not to be okay. Change can be scary, but it can also be beautiful.

How have you utilized the SSI office this year? How has SSI been beneficial for you this year?

SSI has been a safe space whenever everything else felt overwhelming. It’s also helped me discover opportunities I wouldn’t have known about otherwise, ones that truly aligned with who I am and what I care about.

Any advice for other students?

Celebrate small wins. And don’t be afraid to say no when you need to; it’s not selfish, it’s self-care.
